Services
Engineering, research and knowledge transfer for green technologies.
We help companies, operators and research institutions make building, industrial and energy systems more reliable, efficient and sustainable with AI and IoT. Our services build on the concepts and results of our funded projects.
AI & IoT development
We design and build connected systems from the sensor to the web interface – robust, secure and vendor-neutral.
- IoT architectures, sensors and device communication (e.g. MQTT, REST)
- Embedded systems and edge computing on ARM and x86 platforms
- AI models for anomaly detection, forecasting and classification
- Web dashboards for monitoring, alerting and asset management
- Agentic AI: AI agents for monitoring, diagnosis and approval-gated corrective actions (self-healing)
- Edge AI on low-cost, energy-efficient hardware – data stays on site
- Vendor-neutral integration and continued operation of existing and legacy devices
Smart buildings, smart monitoring, energy management & intelligent maintenance
We make the operation of buildings and industrial facilities transparent: faults in HVAC systems, building automation and technical equipment are detected automatically, root causes are narrowed down and actions are derived – reducing energy consumption and CO₂ emissions without sacrificing comfort.
- Monitoring of indoor climate, air quality (CO₂) and system states
- Automated fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Detection of sensor and actuator faults, e.g. stuck dampers or sensor drift
- Demand-controlled ventilation and heating
- Data-based analysis and optimisation of system operation
- AI-based energy management
- Condition monitoring as a basis for needs-based maintenance
- Probabilistic fault diagnosis with (fuzzy) Bayesian networks and multimodal AI
- AI-supported coordination and scheduling of maintenance jobs and technician teams
- Cloud platforms and building automation integration via BACnet/IP and Modbus
Cyber-physical systems & reliability
Technical systems must work safely even when faults occur. We bring reliability engineering methods into your products.
- Fault-tolerant system architectures
- Reliability analysis, modelling and simulation
- System diagnosis for complex, distributed infrastructures
- Test strategies and validation
Consulting for sustainable technologies
We support you from idea to implementation – with a focus on energy efficiency, resource conservation and the goals of the European Green Deal.
- Technology and feasibility assessment
- Design of sustainable digital solutions
- Circular economy: keeping existing hardware in operation instead of creating e-waste
- Tailored engineering solutions
- Market and competitor analyses, business model and go-to-market development
- Feasibility studies and R&D roadmaps for innovation projects

How a project works
01
Initial meeting
We clarify goals, constraints and existing systems – free of charge and without obligation.
02
Concept
You receive a solution concept with work packages, schedule and quotation.
03
Implementation
Development in short iterations with regular reviews and tests.
04
Operation & transfer
Handover, documentation and training – with ongoing support if required.
Let’s talk about your project.
Tell us briefly what you need – we usually reply within two working days.
